In 1510, the Benedictine monk Dom Bernardo Vincelli created a secret elixir made from 27 plants and spices. Today the spirit is better known as  Bénédictine Liqueur, and boasts a recipe so closely guarded it’s known only to three people at any given time!  2010 marks the 500th anniversary of Bénédictine and to celebrate this milestone the brand has created a special anniversary bottle for the holiday season. MA3 was asked to design a customized package for the bottle, reflecting the liqueur’s heritage. Take a look!

MA3 is thrilled to report that our client, favorite children’s fruit snack maker, Materne, has reported a whopping 7 million jump in product sales for GoGo Squeez - it’s ‘100% fruit, squeezable applesauce pouch for children on the go’ - that’s up from 1 million pouches sold last year to an astronomical 8 million this year!! Whoop Whoop!! MA3 is super proud to have had our work be a part of this incredible growth.

“Things are clearly getting interesting”

The secret’s out!  The “mystery” client we mentioned awhile back is none other than the fabled House of Rémy Martin, the world’s leading producer of Fine Champagne Cognac. The brand is launching the worlds first clear cognac, Rémy Martin V, in September of this year and MA3 was selected to design the exclusive limited edition package for the press launch.

The box itself, constructed of clear and frosted plexiglass and standing roughly 14” high features a triangular, flat based lid inscribed with laser message etchings, a transparent 5x5 plexiglass invitation, USB Key, recipe cards and of course the prized spirit itself inside :-) 

Pronounced “Vee”, (derived from the French word “Vie” for “life”)  this will be the the first clear spirit from Rémy Martin  and will be available in select areas beginning September 2010 and roll out into key consumer metro markets in 2011.
